Listening Together

News

The AWAY Day planned for 5th September isn’t going to be happening, instead we will continue Listening Together in different ways. On Sunday 11th October the Worship at Kingairloch will be a bit different.

Alongside prayer, Scripture and music, we’ll make space to think, ponder, pray and listen together as we explore the future shape of worship across Ardgour, Morvern and Strontian Parish Church.

What helps us worship?
What might we try?
Where might God be leading us?

This is about all of us — every voice and every generation matters — as we continue our journey towards becoming an increasingly Prayerful • Participative • Productive church.

Come and be part of the conversation.

Listening Together

An Invitation to the Ardgour, Morvern and Strontian Away Day

Saturday 5 September – CANCELLED – or rather redesigned!.
Venue: To be confirmed (Ardnamurchan Church, Kilchoan)
Gather from 10.00am • Begin at 10.30am • Finish around 4.00pm

It is a question for all of us – Ministry Team, elders, members and friends of the congregation – as we seek to listen together for God’s guidance and discover how we can best serve our communities and grow in faith, hope and love.

You are warmly invited to join us for a relaxed and enjoyable day of conversation, prayer, reflection and fellowship as journey together.

Although we continue to worship in different church buildings across our parish, we are now one congregation, and this day is an opportunity to grow together, get to know one another better, and explore what it means to share in God’s mission as one church serving many communities.

During the day there will be opportunities to:

  • Get to know one another better.
  • Share stories of faith, hope and church life.
  • Pray and worship together in a variety of ways.
  • Listen for where God may be leading us in the years ahead.
  • Explore our shared mission through conversation and creative activities.
  • Enjoy time together over lunch and throughout the day.
  • Have fun!

This is an all-age event, and we especially hope that children and young people will come along. They are not simply the Church of tomorrow – they are a valued and important part of the Church of today. There will be opportunities for everyone to participate in ways that are appropriate and enjoyable, with a range of activities available throughout the day.
