Tern are a five-piece band bringing together music from Scotland and Scandinavia. Featuring Rose Logan (fiddle, SCO), Kristina Leesik (fiddle, SE), Lea Søndergaard Larsen (bodhrán, DK), Dan Brown (piano, accordion, tenor guitar, ENG), and Chris Amer (guitar, SCO), the band create a contemporary Nordic soundscape through original compositions and fresh takes on traditional tunes.
Winners of the Danny Kyle Open Stage in 2023, Tern have since performed across Scotland and Scandinavia and launched their debut album, Flyway, at Celtic Connections 2025. With new music already in the works, they continue to immerse audiences in their innovative and distinctive cross-cultural sound.

Celtic Connections, Shetland Folk Festival, The Royal National Mòd, Innerpeffray Chapel, Eden Festival, Solas Festival, FOD (Denmark) and Glasgow University.
